1999

2-7-99 Chris, Diane, Martha, Ann, Michele, Mary Jane, Sue, Kate & Jess - We had a great time as always.  Our membership grew this year as promised.  We are still waiting to see some wildlife around here.  The skiing was great as always as as the weather.  We will be back next year!  I hope that the rowdy crowd comes again.   We had the best time playing volleyball in our PJs!
Feb-99 Anne - This is so fun.  We went skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, and my brother, my friend and I went on the trail in the back of the yard.  I'm nine almost ten.  I got to sleep in the bunk bed!
Sept-99 Linda & Perry Sawyer, Linda Moran, Dick, Tara & Elizabeth Duggan  - All nine of us want to thank you for your marvelous "home away from home".  It did not take long before we were all saying we're signing up for next year!!  It was so refreshing to wake up with the sun streaming in and to enjoy the clean crisp air.  Our canoes were also a pleasurable success.
2-14-99 The Cape Cod Contingency - We thoroughly enjoyed The Moose Lodge as did many members of our family.  Our three year old son loves to ski and we look forward to coming back again next year. :-)

1998

1-19-98 Christine Moschella (9 years old): "I had a fun time here with my family. We saw tracks! I think they were deer tracks! I went skiing. So did my family. I am a moose now in the lessons! Did you make this house? I went ice skating. That was fun too. My cousin and her friend went tubing. That was fun for them. Did you know my cousin’s name is Erin?"
1-26-98 Diane Lane Cormier (Part time Poet): I came to the Moose, to ski and let Loose. After 1 or 2 beers, I thought I saw some deers. Late last night, just a "hare" before midnight, much to my fright, I looked out on the deck, and said "what the heck?". It said 20 below zero! I knew in the morning, I could have a dilemma, should I ski and be a hero, or should I just let loose in "the Moose".
1-26-98 Chris Aucoin, Lori Blum, Jessica Steffen: "We had another great time at The Moose. We’re repeat customers from last year and the cabin is still terrific. The skiing was great except we had to miss a day because of the minus 20 temps. We managed to hit the outlets in North Conway for a good day of shopping and then had a terrific day on the slopes."
2-5-98 Carrie, Frank, Tracy, Vince…: "Once again we had a wonderful time at the Moose Lodge. The weather was perfect and the skiing was good. We look forward to another visit."
2-16-98 Caitlin Doran (age?): "This place is so cool! We skied today and hopefully we’re skiing tomorrow. The weather was so nice. Your cabin is so neat, the moose on the wall, the picnic table, everything! It won’t be hard to talk my dad into taking us here next year."
2-23-98 Mathew, Patrick, Tom, Peter…: "The skiing was great with temps in the 40’s. Sunday River Brewery was relaxing after skiing, but didn’t compare to relaxing here after skiing and just enjoying the view."
3-8-98 Mtn. Lake Fire Dept: "We all enjoyed the house greatly. We were impressed with the labrador bears that roam your countryside. Next time we come up we will surely be calling you."
3-22-98 Kathleen & Rick Comtois: "This place is the best we have ever stayed in. Lots of great touches. Skiing was fabulous. Hope to stay here again. P.S. We didn’t see the bears."
4-5-98 Mary Lu, Steve, Tom, Brian, Aimee, Savas, Bob, Darren - Well, almost a year later and we find ourselves at The Moose Lodge.  So hello again to Chris and Erin and congrats to Chris on her engagement. So here we are having a great time again!!  We started by renting videos...we skied Saturday - snow was heavy and wet!  We partied at The Great Grizzly, Suds, Bumps Pub, Foggy Goggle and for the grand finale - at The Summit for Motor Booty Affair!  Wild!  Dinners range from wheat pasta to beer and burgers.   We saw no bears (except for the boys when they wake up).  Tom Lemon again curled up by the fire every night.  We decided last night that our favorite part of coming to Moose Lodge is the nightly fireside chats and ghost stories.  So in all a great time was had by all.

1997

Winter 1997 Lori & Tom Chruniak - "what a fabulous place, we had a blast! I don’t even ski and I had a great day. Everyone else had a wonderful day skiing then back here for filet mignon, cocktails and games. 8" of snow has fallen since Thursday. Thanks a lot!"
Winter 1997 Eric Austvold- "hey, nice place! We didn’t see any wild animals (that is of course, besides the *#!&% party animals we brought to stay in the house). But what’s up with the giant paw prints in the snow outside on the driveway? A final thought: be cautious not to become vicious when drinking beer and playing Pictionary… the game brings out the competitiveness in all of us."
Winter 1997 David Fletcher "da man"- " thanks for a great weekend at "Moose Lodge!" Not only did I get some time to relax, but I found my new calling…skiing! I’m ready for the blue! The cabin is great. You both did an excellent job making it so it has that "at home" feeling. I can’t wait to come back up."
Winter 1997 Savas Gunduz - "The cabin was great. We had perfect weather the entire weekend. Skiing was good considering the time of year (Nov 16). Sunday dawned bright and warm, a perfect day for a mountain bike ride down the trails at the end of the street. Finally, reluctantly, we packed up, cleaned and headed out. But not before we took a group photo in front of ‘Moose Lodge’."
6-10-97 Mike Pigott~"The Moose Lodge is really All That! It's new, tastefully decorated and owned and managed by great people. After seeing the Moose Lodge first hand and experiencing the beautiful natural surroundings and activities available, I had to design a web site that showed what it had to offer."
12-25-97 Tanya Jones - "Thank you for a wonderful week of rest and relaxation at Moose Lodge. Bethel, ME is a great place and I’m ready to move in year round! I drove to Franconia Notch, toured Gould Academy & kicked back in the cabin."

The Early Years

12-22-?? Kelley: Happy Winter Solstice!  We skiied for the first time this season & the conditions were great!  It was so geat to come up to this beautiful cabin to get away for the weekend.  The cabin looks awesome - you guys did a great job.  Hope to do it again real soon!  Thanks for having me!
Friend Extraordinaire: Julie Yamartino- "From a snowy lot to a hole in the ground to a beautiful house… love it! The skiing was fantastic! Oh yeah, LOVE that mud room!!"
Rhode Island School of Design Grads- "We had a ball! Really nice place - temps well below zero - but we had fun bringing in the New Year! Hiking around here was a lot of fun - some nice hills to climb. Lots of bear tracks. We came from five different states (MA, NJ, NY, ME and CT) and enjoyed everything."
Sarah Holt- " very ‘Homey’. You guys did a great job in making it a perfect place for a getaway with close friends. Great fireplace!"
D&B Icon: Dan Dougherty- " lettin’ loose at the Moose! No company ski trip is complete without good dancin’ and with not much time to spare we found Suds Pub and of course 311’s song ‘All mixed up’ at 2:30 a.m."
Diane Lane-Cormier - "The accommodations were beautiful & the skiing great. During our stay it snowed about 10 inches- we decided to shovel ourselves out before the plow came so we could ski in the fresh powder! I am a log home owner, so I really was impressed with your cabin and the way you decorated it- a lot of nice details. I think you will have many return guests."
Amy Crocker- "All thirteen of us had a wonderful time. The skiing was definitely one of the top 10 times ever! This cabin is so cozy & warm. Love the fireplace & the view."
Monica & Adam (Pookie) Farley- "If you listen carefully outside at night, you can hear the Snowcats grooming the mountain. What a delight compared to the traffic at home."
Friends Janice & Jamie Fennelly- "Had a blast at Moose Lodge. Apres ski party was great - love ‘The Loft.’"
Pam Wine aka "Purple Potato Chip Pammy"- "What a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation. The Moose Lodge is the place to stay at Sunday River!"
